November News
Our very own weather reporter - Charlie !
One of our 6th form pupils, Charlie, was invited to present the weather on BBC Radio Kent. Charlie has always had a passion for learning about the weather and this was an opportunity not to be missed. He presented the weather like a true professional and we are incredibly proud of him.
Michael Rosen Day - Friday 14th November 2025
Classes in Zone 1 celebrated Michael Rosen day today. Some classes joined a webinar with Michael himself reading poems and answering questions.
Other classes appreciated Michael’s fabulous stories through sensory stories.
Jamaica class pupils were inspired to write their own story using the style of Michael Rosen’s story “Oh Dear, Look What I Got”.

First Aid Certification
Some of our pupils took part in a level 2 First Aid course this month with Mark Jones and they all passed. They showed great understanding, commitment and maturity to the session and were able to successfully complete the training. A great certificate for them to achieve.

Hat Hats Coffee Competition
Pupils from the whole school were asked to enter a competition to design a Christmas cover for coffee cups to be served throughout the Hat Hats Coffee chain. Winners were selected by the Hat Hats team from an abundance of entries, and we are proud to say that Leyton from Zone 1 and Owen from Zone 3 were the winners! Their fabulous designs will be printed proudly onto over 300,000 coffee cups to be served across all Hat Hats sites throughout Kent.

Working as a team
In the House, Sixth Form pupils have been working together to redecorate the downstairs spaces. We have also been developing our cooking skills to make complex dishes for everyone to share. This week pupils made salsa, guacamole, and fajitas...delicious!
